The day we let our butterflies go

We have been watching our caterpillars turn in to chrysalis', and then to butterflies. This week we let them go...

Our trip to Weston Super mare

We had a super day at the beach. Luckily the weather was on our side!
We were really excited on the coach journey there.

We started the day with an ice cream...

 

After that we walked along the promenade to the Grand pier. We saw donkeys, ice cream stands, a ferris wheel, and lots of people.

 

 

When we got to the end of the pier, we learnt all about the seaside past and present. We got to practise putting up a deck chair, and tried on old swimming costumes. 

 

We then looked around the arcade games. Its amazing how much fun they can have without any money!

 







After lunch on the beach we made sandcastles...

 

 

Once we were all covered in sand we were ready to go to the Seaquarium.
