Next term our topic wil be.... In the garden.
We will be learning about mini beats and plants. During the holiday you could go on a mini beast hunt in your garden on in a park. Maybe you could think about where the different mini beats live and how they are different. You could even draw and label them.
I you would like to play some educational games, below is a list of websites we sometimes use in class.

When Hope's Mummy came to visit
Hope's Mummy is a doctor and she came to tell us all about her job and how she helps people. We had fun looking into each others eyes, using a stethoscope, using bandages and using a blood pressure monitor!
Finding half
We have been finding half of shapes, containers and cubes. Can you practise this at home over the holiday?
When Erins Mummy came to visit us
As Erin's Mummy is a nurse she came to talk to us about her job. We tried on gloves she wears, used a stethoscope, and looked at swabs that she uses. It was very interesting!
When the police came to visit
As we have been learing about people who help us, we invited the police to come and talk to us. We asked them lots of questions about their job. They even let us try on their uniform and use their radios!
Capacity
We have been learning about capitiy. We had to find containers that held more or less than one litre. We also had to try to fill each container until it was half full.
